rondomedia has successfully been active in the field of software distribution since more than 14 years. Together with its subsidiary astragon, rondomedia is today the second largest producer and marketer of PC games in Germany (Gfk Media Control, evaluation by quantity, 2011 and 2012).

The main focus of both companies’ product portfolios lies on casual games and simulations for PC. Additionally to that, they have recently begun to expand their range to the adventure genre – a commitment that will be continued constantly in the next few years. rondomedia and astragon distribute next to their own in-house range of casual-games products of well-known license partners such as Alawar, Artifex Mundi, BigFish Games, Gogii, iWin, Mumbo Jumbo, playrix, realore and many other internationally operating publishers.

Already since 2002, rondomedia has been responsible for the distribution of the “Ubisoft-Exclusive” franchise for PC; a new addition is the “Square Enix Masterpieces” franchise, which has been distributed by rondomedia since 2011. Beginning in 2008 the publisher has continually added games for Nintendo DS™, Wii™ and since 2012 for Nintendo 3DS™ to its diverse Portfolio.

2012 rondomedia launched www.simuwelt.de, a download portal specially for the simulation-market.

2013 rondomedia started developing Apps for iOs and Android, first products will hit the market in summer 2013.
